Descriptive Essay About Hazel Jones - 2405 Words

Hazel Jones. That s my name. I wonder about my name, as my friends, Grace Marie Schmidt and Shelby Lynn Binggeli, walk with me down to our treehouse that we built as little kids. I am just Hazel Jones. Just plain old Hazel Jones. I don t think I was important enough for a middle name. Our treehouse is a place so we can have time for just us. The trio. Grace is the popular, fun, outgoing, and talented one. She is very friendly. Shelby and I have no idea how we were so lucky to find a friend like her. Shelby, on the other hand, is the shy, quiet, timid, and introverted one. She is stunningly beautiful though. I know her favorite color is blue. I know she has a scar right above her lip from trying to eat a stick when she was one. I know a lot of things about her. Unfortunately, she knows nothing about me. My- Her parents disowned me when I five. At the time they told me â€Å" Kyle, you’re going to a special camp.† I don t even know why they disowned me. Momma was the only one to tell me good-bye. Hazel’s dad didn t even have the guts to tell me good-bye. I don t remember Hazel’s dad face, but I know I have seen it. I have also seen his face in my nightmares. He never even said I love you. The whole time I was there and no I love you, but I now, I don t want to hear the I love you that I deserved. Hazel has Momma’s eyes, I tell myself.
